Norfolk, Walsingham District, Saxlingham, Baptisms (Parish Register), 1801

The original register is stored in the NRO from whom fiche copies may be purchased. The registers may also be seen on microfilm at Mormon Church (LDS) centres. The abbreviation sp. here stands for spinster. A ? indicates uncertainty in the transcription due to the state of the registers. Where both parents are named, illegit children are given the surname of the father - the mothers surname is included in the notes section. Some entries were blotched entry by watermarks and unreadable. One baptism in the year 1788 was deliberately blanked out.
