An amazing time-lapse film using a tilt-shift lens to get interesting perspectives.

Rock Paper Scissors Lizard Spock

Posted by Andrew on Apr 16, 2009 in Misc

I’m a fan of the TV show Big Bang Theory which had an alternate version of Rock Paper Scissors game this season. They called it Rock Paper Scissors Lizard Spock. Today I found a t-shirt on cafepress which has the hand signs for this variation.

Toronto Island

Posted by Andrew on Apr 9, 2009 in Photography

I spent the afternoon walking around Toronto Island, enjoying the weather and snapping some photos. It was deserted there today, and I enjoying the piece and quiet. Here’s a photo of one of the many unique houses on the island. It certainly would be an interesting place to live!

Here is a bicycle, where the front passenger seat is on springs!

Last night I got a chance to see a local band, well local now but originally from Australia, Dream Awake. They did a great set and the sound was well done last night.

This is an excellent stop motion film, where the creation of the characters is part of the movie.

Florida Oranges

Posted by Andrew on Dec 14, 2008 in Travels

My first fresh florida orange! It was delicious, juicy and I can’t wait for some more!

Breakfast Orange

We did arrive safely to Orlando last night and are now awaiting some sunshine. The WestJet flight was good and only 15 minutes late arriving to Orlando, which was good considering we left Toronto almost 45 minutes late. Our co-pilot informed us the pilot was a lead foot, and we did make up 30 minutes on route.
